Should is a modal verb in English. Should is often used to talk about “obligation” or “duty” of someone.

eg. -
  • I should study hard to pass the examination.

The modal verb “should” is followed by the base form of the main verb.

eg:

Should can be used in Present , Past and Future in the same form when preceded by a verb in the relevant tense to generate the idea.
